The Grassroots Code: Respect the Standard The FA have recently announced the new ‘Respect the Standard’ campaign, which aims to unite everyone across grassroots football by driving positive standards of behaviour across the game. St Francis FC is fully embracing and supporting the campaign and all our Managers, Coaches and Players have been asked to sign up to the Standards. We encourage all members to read the Standards (which you can find in your “My Documents” when you login and listed at the bottom of this page), and we ask that everyone follows the Standards of Behaviour that they describe. Please read more about the campaign below. Let’s make football better for everyone The Grassroots Code is here to unite the grassroots game by driving positive Standards of Behaviour we can all get behind. Keeping Our Players Warm - St Francis FC and Athletherm St Francis FC is proud to be a community club - supporting our players, families and coaches both on and off the pitch. Grassroots football is more than just what happens during the game - it’s about creating an environment where everyone can enjoy the experience, whatever the weather. That’s why we’re pleased to be working with Athletherm, who’ve developed a fantastic, all-weather poncho designed for active kids. We all know that grassroots football can get cold, wet and windy - at matchdays or at training. Whether it’s players arriving early, warming up, or waiting for their turn to work their magic on the pitch - staying warm and dry makes a big difference. That’s why we’re really pleased to endorse Athletherm’s ponchos - we think they’re a great fit. They have a waterproof outer and fleece lining, and tick both boxes for keeping dry and warm. We’re hopeful this partnership will really support the wellbeing of our players - helping everyone get the most out of each footballing weekend. We’re looking forward to seeing some of our players give Athletherm a try over the coming months - and hopefully enjoying a few warmer touchlines along the way! Speak to your team manager for details of an exclusive discount code, and then visit https://www.athletherm.co.uk to place your order.
