Home Match Pitch Bookings

ST FRANCIS HOME MATCH PITCH BOOKINGS 

Pitch bookings need to be organised for all girls teams and for boys/mens teams playing at U11+ level (note that teams playing in the EDMSL have pitches organised by the league).  

Leagues generally require fixture details to be finalised a minimum of 7-9 days in advance. To help secure preferred pitches it is recommended to communicate requirements to club Pitch Coordinator (Chris Wright or Nick Bond) as soon as possible after the league releases fixtures. KLC will release pitches to other clubs if these are not booked in time.

Each team's managers / coaches / admins are responsible for the following:

  1. Communicate home pitch requirements to the club Pitch Coordinator
  2. Confirm pitches have been arranged for all home matches
  3. Ensure that venue location and kick-off time details are communicated back to league age group coordinators

HOME MATCH SETUP AT KNIGHTWOOD LEISURE CENTRE

KLC have asked that St Francis teams take responsibility for moving the goals for our games and for putting them away afterwards. If the goals cannot be moved, or you're having issues, please speak with the staff and request their help,  ​When not in use the portable goals are usually pushed directly off the end of the pitch and padlocked together next to the fence.

Teams are also responsible for putting out/away the following equipment items which are kept in the shipping container adjacent to the junior 11-a-side pitch (please ask the leisure centre staff for the key if this is locked):

  • Respect Barrier
  • Corner Flags
